Odyssey in Science and Medicine

The first in a series of exhibits, “Scientists and Their Instruments,” highlighting the Merrill W. Chase Historic Instrument Collection. The 2006 "Odyssey in Science and Medicine" exhibit features instruments developed and used by Nobelists Karl Landsteiner, father of the modern blood bank, and Alexis Carrel, developer of the surgical technique for suturing blood vessels.
