Description

Karl Landsteiner, immunologist and pathologist at The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research from 1922 until 1943, solved many mysteries of blood. For his outstanding work identifying the human blood groups, he was awarded the Nobel prize in 1930 and became the second Nobel laureate from Rockefeller.
