The addresses printed here were given by members of the faculty in presenting candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, and by President Bronk in citing Thomas Milton Rivers and Hugh Stott Taylor fot he degree of Doctor of Science honoris causa at the Convocation for the Conferring of Degrees at The Rockefeller Institute on June 16, 1961.
