Two books from the collection of Dr. Alfred E. Cohn
The books which Dr. Cohn had collected and treasured throughout his life were bequeathed to the Rockefeller Institute where he spent most of his scholarly career. This magnificent collection includes some of the major works of many of the great names in the history of medical science: Celsus, Thomas Bartholinus, G. Borelli, Malpighi, Leuwenhoek, Richard Lower, Mead, Harvey, and many others.
